/ ऑपन-माज बछ। -ज:डि द्विषष्ट्याधिकशततमो< ध्याय: सत्यके लक्षण
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | satyaṃ dharmaṃ praśaṃsanti viprarṣipitṛdevatāḥ | satyam icchāmy ahaṃ śrotuṃ tan me brūhi pitāmaha ||
युधिष्ठिर म्हणाला—पितामह! ब्राह्मण, ऋषी-मुनी, पितर आणि देवता सत्यभाषणरूप धर्माची स्तुती करतात. म्हणून ‘सत्य’ खरे तर काय आहे, हे मला ऐकायचे आहे—कृपा करून मला सांगा.
