बलाधिकोऊ३* हं त्वत्तश्न न भी: कार्या मया तव । ये तु बुद्धया हि बलिनस्ते भवन्ति बलीयस:
balādhiko ’haṁ tvattaḥ; na bhīḥ kāryā mayā tava | ye tu buddhyā hi balinas te bhavanti balīyasaḥ ||
भीष्म म्हणाले—“शारीरिक बळाने मी तुझ्यापेक्षा अधिक आहे; म्हणून माझ्यामुळे तुला भय बाळगण्याचे कारण नाही. जे बुद्धी व विवेकाने खरे बलवान असतात, तेच अधिकाधिक सामर्थ्यवान होतात.”
