कपोती-विलापः स्वर्गसंयोगश्च

एवं तु वर्तमानस्य तस्य वृत्तिं दुरात्मन: । अगमत् सुमहान् कालो न चाधर्ममबुध्यत
evaṃ tu vartamānasya tasya vṛttiṃ durātmanaḥ | agamat sumahān kālo na cādharmam abudhyata ||
भीष्म म्हणाले—अशा रीतीने त्या दुष्टचित्ताची तीच वृत्ती चालू राहिली; फार काळ निघून गेला, तरी त्याला आपल्या या अधर्माचे भान आले नाही.
