नविश्वसेदविश्वस्ते विश्वस्ते नातिविश्वसेत् विश्वासाद् भयमभ्येति नापरीक्ष्य च विश्वसेद्
Transliteration
na viśvased aviśvaste viśvaste nātiviśvaset | viśvāsād bhayam abhyeti nāparīkṣya ca viśvaset ||
Translation
भीष्म म्हणाले—अविश्वसनीयावर विश्वास ठेवू नये; आणि विश्वासार्हावरही अति-विश्वास ठेवू नये. अति-विश्वासातून भय व संकट उद्भवते; म्हणून तपासल्यावाचून कोणावरही विश्वास ठेवू नये.
