अभिप्रजाता सा तत्र पुत्रमेक॑ सुवर्चसम् | समकाल च राज्ञोडपि देव्यां पुत्रो व्यजायत
abhiprajātā sā tatra putram ekaṁ suvarcasam | samakālaṁ ca rājño 'pi devyāṁ putro vyajāyata ||
तेथे तिने एकच पुत्र प्रसवला, जो तेजाने उजळून निघालेला होता. आणि त्याच वेळी राजाच्या राणीच्या (देवीच्या) गर्भातूनही एक पुत्र जन्मास आला.
भीष्म उवाच

A woman gives birth to a radiant son in the palace, and on the same day the king’s queen also gives birth to a son, establishing a parallel timing that can become crucial for later identity and inheritance issues.
