Draupadī’s Exhortation on Rājadharma and Daṇḍa (द्रौपद्याः राजधर्मोपदेशः)
द्रौपहुवाच इमे ते भ्रातर: पार्थ शुष्यन्ते स््तोकका इव । वावाश्यमानास्तिष्ठन्ति न चैनानभिनन्दसे,कुन्तीकुमार! आपके ये भाई आपका संकल्प सुनकर सूख गये हैं; पपीहोंके समान आपसे राज्य करनेकी रट लगा रहे हैं; फिर भी आप इनका अभिनन्दन नहीं करते? ।।
Draupadī uvāca: ime te bhrātaraḥ Pārtha śuṣyante stokakā iva | vāvāśyamānās tiṣṭhanti na cainān abhinandase, Kuntīkumarā ||
द्रौपदी म्हणाली—हे पार्थ! तुझे हे भाऊ लहान तळ्यांसारखे आटत चालले आहेत. पपीह्यासारखे आर्त हाक देत तुझ्यासमोर उभे आहेत—राज्य स्वीकार असे म्हणत; तरीही, हे कुंतीनंदना, तू त्यांचे अभिनंदनही करीत नाहीस!
