एवमुक्त्वा तु पलितस्तमर्थमुभयोहितम् । हेतुमद् ग्रहणीयं च कालापेक्षी न्यवेक्ष्य च
evam uktvā tu palitas tam artham ubhayohitam | hetumad grahaṇīyaṃ ca kālāpekṣī nyavekṣya ca ||
अशा रीतीने दोघांच्या हिताची, युक्तियुक्त व स्वीकारण्याजोगी गोष्ट सांगून पलित योग्य वेळ व उत्तराची वाट पाहत मांजराकडे पाहू लागला.
