धर्मार्थकुशलो राजा धर्मशास्त्रविशारद: । पृच्छामि त्वां कुरुश्रेष्ठ तन्मे व्याख्यातुमहसि
Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: dharmārthakuśalo rājā dharmaśāstraviśāradaḥ | pṛcchāmi tvāṃ kuruśreṣṭha tan me vyākhyātum arhasi, bharatabhūṣaṇa |
हे कुरुश्रेष्ठ! मी आपल्याला विचारतो—धर्म व अर्थ यांत कुशल आणि धर्मशास्त्रात पारंगत राजा देखील शत्रूंनी वेढला असता ज्या बुद्धीच्या आधाराने मोहात पडत नाही, ती बुद्धी कृपया मला समजावून सांगा।
