ब्रवीषि मधुरं यच्च प्रियो मे5द्य भवानिति
bravīṣi madhuraṁ yac ca priyo me ’dya bhavān iti |
भीष्म म्हणाले—“तू जे गोड बोलतोस—‘आज तू मला फार प्रिय आहेस’—त्यालाही कारण आहे, मित्रा! ते सर्व मी तुला विस्ताराने सांगतो; ऐक. मनुष्य कारणामुळेच प्रेमाचा पात्र होतो आणि कारणामुळेच द्वेषाचा पात्र होतो.”
