Kāpavya-carita (कापव्यचरित) — Reforming Dasyus through Regulated Rāja-Dharma
बहवो ग्रामवास्तव्या रोषाद् ब्रूयु: परस्परम् । न तेषां वचनाद् राजा सत्कुर्याद् घातयीत वा
bahavo grāmavāstavya roṣād brūyuḥ parasparam | na teṣāṁ vacanād rājā satkuryād ghātayīta vā ||
अनेक ग्रामवासी क्रोधाने परस्परांविषयी राजापुढे कुणाची स्तुती व कुणाची निंदा करू लागले, तरी राजा केवळ त्यांच्या बोलण्यावरून ना कोणाला दंड द्यावा, ना कोणाचा सत्कार करावा; नीट चौकशी केल्याशिवाय लोककलह व पक्षपाती वृत्तांतावर निर्णय ठेवू नये।
