त्रिवर्गमूलनिश्चयः — Determining the Roots of Dharma, Artha, and Kāma

पेयापेये कुत: सिद्धिर्हिंसन्ति च परस्परम् | गम्यागम्यं तदा नासीत् स्वं परस्वं च वै समम्
peyāpeye kutaḥ siddhir hiṃsanti ca parasparam | gamyāgamyaṃ tadā nāsīt svaṃ parasvaṃ ca vai samam ||
मग पेय-अपेयाचा निश्चय तरी कसा राहिला असता? लोक परस्परांची हिंसा करू लागले. त्या वेळी गम्य-अगम्याचाही विचार उरला नाही; आपले आणि परके धन समान मानले जाऊ लागले.
