यथा क्रमेण पुष्पेभ्यक्षिनोति मधु षघट्पद: । तथा द्रव्यमुपादाय राजा कुर्वीत संचयम्
yathā krameṇa puṣpebhyaḥ kṣinoti madhu ṣaṭpadaḥ | tathā dravyam upādāya rājā kurvīta sañcayam ||
भीष्म म्हणाले—जशी मधमाशी क्रमाने अनेक फुलांतून थोडा-थोडा रस गोळा करून मध साठवते, तसा राजा सर्व प्रजेकडून थोडे-थोडे द्रव्य घेऊन कोषाचा संचय करील.
