Gratitude, Discernment, and the Escalation of Power (Śvā–Dvipī–Vyāghra–Nāga–Siṃha–Śarabha Itihāsa)
ततः श्वा द्वीपितां नीतो जाम्बूनदनिभाकृति: । चित्राड़ो विस्फुरदंष्टो वने वसति निर्भय:
tataḥ śvā dvīpitāṃ nīto jāmbūnadanibhākṛtiḥ | citrāḍo visphuraddaṃṣṭo vane vasati nirbhayaḥ ||
त्यानंतर मुनिने कुत्र्याला चित्ता केले. त्याची देहकांती जाम्बूनद सुवर्णासारखी चमकू लागली; अंगावर ठिपके पडले आणि मोठमोठे दात झळकू लागले. तो निर्भय होऊन वनात राहू लागला.
