Kṣemadarśa–Kālakavṛkṣīya Saṃvāda: Counsel on Impermanence, Non-attachment, and Composure in Dispossession

धर्ममेकेडभिपद्यन्ते कल्याणाभिजना नरा: । परत्र सुखमिच्छन्तो निर्विद्येयुश्न लौकिकात्‌,उत्तम कुलमें उत्पन्न हुए कुछ ही मनुष्य ऐसे हैं, जो धर्मकी शरण लेते हैं और परलोकमें सुखकी इच्छा रखकर समस्त लौकिक व्यापारसे उपरत हो जाते हैं

dharmam eke ’bhipadyante kalyāṇābhijanā narāḥ | paratra sukham icchanto nirvidyeyuś ca laukikāt ||

उत्तम कुलात जन्मलेले काहीच मनुष्य धर्माची शरण घेतात. परलोकातील सुखाची इच्छा धरून ते लौकिक व्यवहारांपासून विरक्त होऊन निवृत्त होतात.
