प्रजानाथ! श्रीकृष्णके मुखसे यह आक्षेपयुक्त वचन सुन राजा दुर्योधन अमर्षके वशीभूत होकर उठा और दोनों हाथ पृथ्वीपर टेककर चूतड़के सहारे बैठ गया ।। दृष्टिं भ्रूसडुकटां कृत्वा वासुदेवे न्न्यपातयत् | अर्धोन्नतशरीरस्य रूपमासीन्नूपस्य तु
prajānātha! śrīkṛṣṇake mukhase yaḥ ākṣepayuktaṃ vacanaṃ śrutvā rājā duryodhana amārṣavaśībhūtaḥ samuttiṣṭhat, ubhābhyāṃ hastābhyāṃ pṛthivīṃ tekitvā cūtṛḍa-sahāyena upāviśat. dṛṣṭiṃ bhrūsaṅkuṭāṃ kṛtvā vāsudeve nyapātayat; ardhonnataśarīrasya rūpam āsīt nṛpasya tu.
हे प्रजानाथ! श्रीकृष्णाच्या मुखातून हे आक्षेपयुक्त वचन ऐकून राजा दुर्योधन असह्य क्रोधाने उठला; आणि पुन्हा दोन्ही हातांनी भूमीला टेक देऊन चूतडांच्या आधाराने बसला। भुवया आकसून त्याने वासुदेवाकडे कटाक्ष टाकला; राजाचे शरीर अर्धवट उचललेलेच राहिले।
