आधुन्वन्तो गदे घोरे चन्दनागरुरूषिते । वैरस्यान्तं परीप्सन्तौ रणे क्रुद्धाविवान्तकौ
ādhunvantau gade ghore candanāgarurūṣite | vairasyāntaṃ parīpsantau raṇe kruddhāv ivāntakau ||
वैराचा अंत करण्याची इच्छा बाळगून ते दोघे वीर रणांगणात चंदन व अगरूने लेपलेल्या भयंकर गदा फिरवीत होते; ते जणू क्रुद्ध काळासारखे भासत होते।
