प्रयत: प्राउजलि र्भूत्वा धीरस्तान्‌ ब्रह्म॒सत्रिण: । जैगीषव्यं न पश्यामि तं शंसध्वं महौजसम्‌

prayataḥ prāñjalir bhūtvā dhīras tān brahmasatriṇaḥ | jaigīṣavyaṃ na paśyāmi taṃ śaṃsadhvaṃ mahaujasam ||

वैशंपायन म्हणाले—संयमी धीर पुरुषाने हात जोडून ब्रह्मसत्रात प्रवृत्त असलेल्या त्या ब्राह्मणांना म्हटले—“मला जैगीषव्य दिसत नाहीत; त्या महौजस्वी मुनिविषयी सांगा.”
