शल्यस्य सेनापत्याभ्युपगमः | Śalya’s Acceptance of Command
आकाशे विद्रुमे पुण्ये प्रस्थे हिमवत: शुभे | अरुणां सरस्वती प्राप्य पपु: सस्नुश्चन ते जलम्,आकाशके नीचे हिमालयके शिखरकी सुन्दर, पवित्र एवं वृक्षरहित चौरस भूमिपर अरुणसलिला सरस्वतीके निकट जाकर उन सबने स्नान और जलपान किया
ākāśe vidrume puṇye prasthē himavataḥ śubhe | aruṇāṃ sarasvatīṃ prāpya papuḥ sasnuś ca te jalam ||
संजय म्हणाला—हिमवताच्या शुभ शिखरांवरील ‘आकाशविद्रुम’ नावाच्या पवित्र, वृक्षरहित सपाट प्रस्थावर ते पोहोचले. तेथे अरुणधारा सरस्वतीजवळ जाऊन त्यांनी तिचे जल प्राशन केले आणि स्नान करून शांती व शुचिता प्राप्त केली.
