कार्त्तिकेयाभिषेकः — Consecration of Kārttikeya and the Enumeration of His Retinue
देवर्षयश्न सिद्धाश्न बृहस्पतिपुरोगमा: । पितरो जगत: श्रेष्ठा देवानामपि देवता:
devarṣayaś ca siddhāś ca bṛhaspatipurogamāḥ | pitaraḥ jagataḥ śreṣṭhā devānām api devatāḥ ||
वैशंपायन म्हणाले—तेथे देवर्षी व सिद्धगण होते, ज्यांच्या अग्रभागी बृहस्पती होते; आणि पितृगण—जगातील श्रेष्ठ—असे की देवताही त्यांना देवतासमान मानून पूजत.
