Sarasvatī Tīrtha Itinerary — Balarāma’s Pilgrimage
यज्ञार्थ चक्रतुश्निन्तां तथा वित्तार्थमेव च । तयोबुद्धि: समभवत् त्रितं गृह्य परंतप
yajñārthaṃ cakratuś cintāṃ tathā vittārtham eva ca | tayoḥ buddhiḥ samabhavat tritaṃ gṛhya parantapa rājan ||
वैशंपायन म्हणाले—यज्ञाचे पुण्य आणि धनलाभ या दोन्ही हेतूंनी ते दोघे भाऊ विचार करू लागले. मग त्यांच्या मनात हा निश्चय झाला—“परंतप राजन्, त्रिताला सोबत घेऊन आपण यजमानांचे यज्ञ करवू; दक्षिणा म्हणून पुष्कळ पशुधन मिळवून महाफलदायी यज्ञाचे अनुष्ठान करू; आणि तेथेच हर्षित मनाने सोमरस पिऊ।”
