स मेघनिनदो हर्षन्नर्दन्निव च गोवृष: । आजुहाव ततः: पार्थान्‌ गदया युधि वीर्यवान्‌,उस पराक्रमी वीरने हँकड़ते हुए साँड़के समान मेघके तुल्य गम्भीर गर्जना करते हुए बड़े हर्षके साथ गदायुद्धके लिये पाण्डवोंको ललकारा

Transliteration

sa meghaninado harṣan nardann iva ca govṛṣaḥ | ājuhāva tataḥ pārthān gadayā yudhi vīryavān ||

Translation

तो पराक्रमी वीर हर्षाने भरून मेघगर्जनेसारखा गंभीर नाद करीत, हंबरडणाऱ्या बैलासारखा गर्जत, गदायुद्धासाठी पार्थांना ललकारू लागला.
