शरैरनेकसाहसैर्वारियामास संयुगे । उन सबको युद्धसे उदासीन देख प्रतापी माद्रीकुमार सहदेवने अनेक सहस्र बाणोंकी वर्षा करके उन्हें युद्धस्थलमें ही रोक दिया
sañjaya uvāca | śarair aneka-sāhasair vāriyāmāsa saṃyuge |
संजय म्हणाला—रणसंग्रामात त्याने अनेक सहस्र बाणांनी त्यांना रोखले. ते योद्धे युद्धापासून उदासीन होत आहेत असे पाहून प्रतापी माद्रीकुमार सहदेवाने असंख्य बाणांचा वर्षाव करून त्यांना रणभूमीतच थांबविले.
