तूर्यशब्देन महता नादयन्तश्न मेदिनीम्‌ । वे हाथियोंके घण्टोंकी आवाज, शंखोंकी ध्वनि तथा वाद्योंके महान्‌ घोषसे पृथ्वीको गुँजा रहे थे

tūryaśabdena mahatā nādayantaś ca medinīm |

संजय म्हणाला—महान तूर्यनादाने ते पृथ्वीला गुंजवीत होते; हत्तींच्या घंटांचा निनाद, शंखध्वनी आणि भेरी आदी वाद्यांचा प्रचंड घोष एकत्र उठत होता.
