आशीविषान्‌ नेत्रविषान्‌ कोपयेन्न च पण्डित: । एवं ते5हं वदामीदं प्रयतः कुरुनन्दन

Transliteration

Āśīviṣān netraviṣān kopayen na ca paṇḍitaḥ | evaṁ te 'haṁ vadāmīdaṁ prayataḥ kurunandana ||

Translation

कुरुनंदना! मी एकाग्र मनाने तुला सांगतो—पंडित पुरुष त्या सर्पांना कधीही चिडवत नाहीत, जे दातांनीच नव्हे तर नेत्रांनीही विष ओकतात.
