शत्तितो ब्राह्मणान् नून॑ रक्षितुं प्रयतामहे । तद् वै वित्त मातिदेवीर्मा जैषी: शकुने परान्
śaktito brāhmaṇān nūnaṃ rakṣituṃ prayatāmahe | tad vai vitta mātidevīr mā jaiṣīḥ śakune parān ||
युधिष्ठिर म्हणाला—आम्ही आपल्या शक्तीनुसार ब्राह्मणांचे रक्षण करण्यासाठी निश्चयाने प्रयत्न करीत आहोत. म्हणून, हे धनवान शकुनी, इतरांना—माझ्या भावांना—जिंकू नकोस.
