अव्यापार: परार्थेषु नित्योद्योग: स्वकर्मसु । रक्षणं समुपात्तानामेतद् वैभवलक्षणम्
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca | avyāpāraḥ parārtheṣu nityodyogaḥ svakarmasu | rakṣaṇaṃ samupāttānām etad vaibhavalakṣaṇam ||
धृतराष्ट्र म्हणाले—परक्यांच्या कार्यांत न पडणे, आपल्या नियत कर्मांत सतत उद्योगी राहणे, आणि न्यायाने मिळविलेल्या गोष्टींचे रक्षण करणे—हेच खरे वैभव व सामर्थ्य यांची लक्षणे आहेत.
