सभा पर्व, अध्याय ३७ — युधिष्ठिरस्य भीष्मोपदेशः
Yudhiṣṭhira’s Consultation and Bhīṣma’s Counsel in the Assembly
बाला यूयं न जानीध्वं धर्म: सूक्ष्मो हि पाण्डवा: । अयं च स्मृत्यतिक्रान्तो ह्वापगेयो5ल्पदर्शन:
bālā yūyaṁ na jānīdhvaṁ dharmaḥ sūkṣmo hi pāṇḍavāḥ | ayaṁ ca smṛtyatikrānto hy āpageyo 'lpadarśanaḥ ||
शिशुपाल म्हणाला—पांडवांनो, तुम्ही अजून बालक आहात; धर्म तुम्हाला कळत नाही, कारण धर्म अत्यंत सूक्ष्म आहे. आणि हा भीष्म वृद्धत्वामुळे स्मृतिभ्रंश पावला आहे; त्याची दृष्टी-समज कमी झाली आहे; म्हणूनच त्याची बुद्धीही मंद झाली आहे.
