वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharma expressed as proper hospitality and faithful fulfillment of one’s duty: when a king acts with reverence and gives what is rightly offered at the right time, divine grace (prasāda) follows, reinforcing the moral economy of reciprocity between humans and the sacred.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Agni (Vibhāvasu), having accepted the beautiful daughter of King Nīla, becomes pleased and grants the king his favor—marking the successful completion of the offering/arrangement and the resulting blessing upon the ruler.
