विन्दानुविन्दावावन्त्यौ सैन्येन महता55वृतौ । जिगाय समरे वीरावदश्चिनेय: प्रतापवान्‌,अश्विनीकुमारोंके पुत्र प्रतापी सहदेवने वहाँ युद्धमें विशाल सेनासे घिरे हुए अवन्तीके राजकुमार विन्द और अनुविन्दको परास्त किया

vaindānuvindāv āvantyau sainyena mahatā vṛtau | jigāya samare vīrāv adaścineyaḥ pratāpavān |

अवन्तीचे वीर राजकुमार विंद व अनुविंद, जे विशाल सैन्याने वेढलेले होते—त्यांना प्रतापी दक्षिणेय (सहदेव) ने समरात पराभूत केले.
