Jarā’s Account and the Enthronement of Jarāsandha (जरासंधोत्पत्तिः अभिषेकश्च)
बालस्ताम्रतल मुष्टिं कृत्वा चास्ये निधाय स: । प्राक्रोशदतिसंरब्ध: सतोय इव तोयद:,उस बालकने अपने लाल हथेलीवाले हाथोंकी मुट्ठी बाँधकर मुँहमें डाल ली और अत्यन्त क़ुद्ध होकर जलसे भरे मेघकी भाँति गम्भीर स्वरसे रोना शुरू कर दिया
bālas tāmra-tala-muṣṭiṁ kṛtvā cāsye nidhāya saḥ | prākrośad ati-saṁrabdhaḥ satoya iva toyadaḥ ||
त्या बालकाने तांबूसारख्या तळहाताची मुठ बांधून ती तोंडात घातली आणि अत्यंत संतप्त होऊन, जलाने भरलेल्या मेघासारख्या गभीर स्वरात आक्रोश करू लागला।
