तस्य त्वं पुरुषव्याप्र संकल्पं कुरु पाण्डव | गन्तासि त्वं महेन्द्रस्य पूर्व: सह सलोकताम्,पुरुषसिंह पाण्डुनन्दन! तुम अपने पिताके संकल्पको पूरा करो। ऐसा करनेपर तुम पूर्वजोंके साथ देवराज इन्द्रके लोकमें जाओगे
tasya tvaṃ puruṣavyāghra saṅkalpaṃ kuru pāṇḍava | gantāsi tvaṃ mahendrasya pūrvaḥ saha salokatām, puruṣasiṃha pāṇḍunandana ||
नारद म्हणाले—हे पुरुषव्याघ्र, हे पांडव! तुझ्या पित्याचा तो संकल्प पूर्ण कर. असे केल्यास, हे पुरुषसिंह पांडुनंदना, तू सर्वांपूर्वी महेंद्राच्या लोकात जाशील आणि पितरांप्रमाणे त्याच लोकाची प्राप्ती करशील।
