महाभागानमितधीर्त्रद्या लोकपितामह: । दयावान् सर्वभूतेषु यथा प्रतिपद्यते,अगाध बुद्धिवाले दयालु लोकपितामह ब्रह्माजी अपने यहाँ आये हुए सभी महाभाग अतिथियों--देवता, दैत्य, नाग, पक्षी, यक्ष, सुपर्ण, कालेय, गन्धर्व तथा अप्सराओं एवं सम्पूर्ण भूतोंसे यथायोग्य मिलते हैं और उन्हें अनुगृहीत करते हैं
mahābhāgān amitadhīr adyā lokapitāmahaḥ | dayāvān sarvabhūteṣu yathā pratipadyate ||
नारद म्हणाले—आज अमित बुद्धीचे व सर्वभूतांवर दयाळू असे लोकपितामह ब्रह्मदेव, आपल्या येथे आलेल्या महाभाग अतिथींशी यथाविधी व्यवहार करून त्यांना अनुग्रह देतात.
