tvayā sārathinā pārtho yatnavān ahanaś ca tam | na tac citraṁ mahābāho yuṣmad-buddhi-prasāda-jam, rājendra |

Educational Q&A

Success in righteous action is not merely personal prowess; it also depends on wise guidance, clear judgment, and humility that credits the right causes—here, Yudhiṣṭhira attributes victory to Kṛṣṇa’s discerning counsel rather than to pride.

After an enemy is slain by Arjuna, Yudhiṣṭhira rejoices and addresses Kṛṣṇa, saying it is unsurprising that Arjuna could accomplish the feat because Kṛṣṇa served as his charioteer and strategist, whose intellect enabled the outcome.
