एतान्‌ हत्वा हनिष्यामि पश्चाद्‌ वैकर्तनं रणे । इति व्यपदिशन्‌ पार्थों वर्जयन्‌ सूतजं रणे

Transliteration

etān hatvā haniṣyāmi paścād vaikartanaṃ raṇe | iti vyapadiśan pārtho varjayan sūtajaṃ raṇe ||

Translation

वैशंपायन म्हणाले—“यांना मारून मग रणात वैकर्तनाचा वध करीन।” असे म्हणत पार्थ युद्धात सूतपुत्र कर्णाला टाळीत असे.
