दशभिर्दशभिश्नैको नाराचैर्निहतो गज: । न चासौ धार्तराष्ट्राणां श्रूयते निनदस्तथा
daśabhir daśabhiś caiko nārācair nihato gajaḥ | na cāsau dhārtarāṣṭrāṇāṃ śrūyate ninadas tathā ||
संजय म्हणाला—दहा आणि दहा तीक्ष्ण नाराच बाणांनी एका वीराने एक हत्ती पाडला; तरीही धार्तराष्ट्रांच्या सैन्यात तसा कोणताही गजर—प्रत्युत्तराचा निनाद—ऐकू आला नाही.
