कृपकर्णादयो वीरा ऋषभाणामिवर्ष भा: । “कृपाचार्य और कर्ण आदि वीर इन पांचालोंको रोकनेके लिये अत्यन्त पराक्रम दिखा रहे हैं। ठीक उसी तरह, जैसे साँड़ दूसरे साँड्रोंको दबानेकी चेष्टा करते हैं ।। भीमास्त्रेण सुनिर्भग्नान्‌ धार्तराष्ट्रानू महारथान्‌

Transliteration

kṛpakarṇādayo vīrā ṛṣabhāṇām ivarṣabhāḥ | bhīmāstreṇa sunirbhagnān dhārtarāṣṭrān mahārathān ||

Translation

संजय म्हणाला—कृपाचार्य, कर्ण आणि इतर वीर पाञ्चालांना रोखण्यासाठी अपूर्व पराक्रम दाखवीत आहेत—जसे बलवान वृषभ दुसऱ्या वृषभांना दाबून टाकण्याचा प्रयत्न करतात। तरीही भीमाच्या अस्त्राने धार्तराष्ट्रांचे महारथी पूर्णपणे चिरडले गेले आहेत।
