Educational Q&A

The verse highlights how uncontrolled wrath amplifies destructive power, likening a furious warrior’s force to Death itself—an implicit ethical warning about anger’s capacity to overwhelm restraint and compassion in war.

Sañjaya describes Duryodhana in the thick of battle, firmly positioned and rapidly releasing dense volleys of arrows; his momentum is portrayed as nearly irresistible, comparable to the advance of Antaka (Death).
