अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च

सिंहास्यं च यथा प्राप्प न जीवन्ति मृगा: क्वचित्
siṁhāsyaṁ ca yathā prāpya na jīvanti mṛgāḥ kvacit
संजय म्हणाला— “जसा सिंहाच्या तोंडाशी पोहोचलेले मृग कुठेही जिवंत राहत नाहीत, तसा बलवान शत्रूच्या निकट पकडीत आलेल्यांना सुटका उरत नाही.”
