अपरे प्राद्रवन् नागा: शल्यार्ता व्रणपीडिता: । प्रतिमानैश्व कुम्भैश्न पेतुरुव्या महाहवे
apare prādravan nāgāḥ śalyārtā vraṇapīḍitāḥ | pratimānaiś ca kumbhaiś ca petur urvyā mahāhave ||
संजय म्हणाला—इतर हत्ती भाल्यांच्या वेदनेने आणि जखमांच्या पीडेनं व्याकुळ होऊन घाबरून पळू लागले; आणि त्या महायुद्धात ते पृथ्वीवर कोसळले—आपल्या प्रचंड देहासह व घटासारख्या कुम्भस्थळासह जमिनीवर आपटले.
