कृष्णोपदेशः, अर्जुनस्य क्षमा-याचनम्, कर्णवध-अनुज्ञा

अभ्यद्रवन्त समरे भीम॑ भीमपराक्रमम् । प्रभो! उस शूरवीरकों मारा गया देख उसके भाई समरभूमिमें भयंकर पराक्रमी भीमसेनपर सब ओरसे टूट पड़े
abhyadravanta samare bhīmaṁ bhīmaparākramam | prabho! taṁ śūravīraṁ hataṁ dṛṣṭvā tasya bhrātaraḥ samarabhūmau bhayaṅkara-parākramiṇaṁ bhīmasenam sarvataḥ samantāt pratyapatanta |
संजय म्हणाला—समरात ते भीमपराक्रमी भीमावर धावून गेले. प्रभो, त्या शूरवीराचा वध झालेला पाहताच त्याचे भाऊ शोक व कर्तव्याने पेटून रणभूमीत सर्व बाजूंनी भीमसेनावर तुटून पडले.
