स वै सम्पत्स्यते कर्ण सत्यमेतद्‌ ब्रवीमि ते । “कर्ण! तुम्हारे हृदयमें चिरकालसे जो अभीष्ट मनोरथ संचित है, वह निश्चय ही सफल होगा, यह मैं तुमसे सत्य कहता हूँ

Transliteration

sa vai sampatsyate karṇa satyam etad bravīmi te |

Translation

संजय म्हणाला—हे कर्णा, ते नक्कीच घडून येईल; मी तुला सत्य सांगतो. तुझ्या हृदयात दीर्घकाळ साठलेला जो अभिष्ट मनोरथ आहे, तो निश्चितच सफल होईल.
