छिन्नभिन्नविपर्यस्तैर्व्मालड्कार भूषणै:

chinnabhinna-viparyastair mālālaṅkāra-bhūṣaṇaiḥ

माळा, अलंकार व भूषणे छिन्नभिन्न होऊन अस्ताव्यस्त विखुरली होती. जी पूर्वी मान-सन्मान व ओळखीची चिन्हे होती, तीच आता हिंसेच्या मध्यात पडलेली तुटकी अवशेष बनली.
