यस्त्वस्य विहितो घातस्तं करिष्यामि भारत । प्रधानवध एवास्य विनाशस्तं करोम्यहम्
sañjaya uvāca | yastv asya vihito ghātastam kariṣyāmi bhārata | pradhāna-vadha evāsya vināśas taṃ karomy aham ||
हे भारत! या व्यूहाच्या नाशासाठी जो वधोपाय सांगितला आहे तोच मी करीन. याचा विनाश प्रधान सेनापतीचा वध झाल्यावरच होऊ शकतो; म्हणून मी तेच करीन.
