Karṇa’s Pressure on the Pāñcālas; Duryodhana Disabled; Arjuna’s Counter-Advance
तान् सो$भिपत्य जिज्ञासु: क एषां श्रेष्ठभागिति
tān so’bhipatya jijñāsuḥ ka eṣāṃ śreṣṭhabhāg iti | tam ādadāya durbuddhiḥ patāv iti pakṣiṇam ||
संजय म्हणाला—“यांच्यात श्रेष्ठ भाग कोणाचा, सर्वांत अग्रणी कोण?” अशी जिज्ञासा धरून तो दुर्बुद्धी कावळा उडत त्यांच्या जवळ गेला. दूरवर उडणाऱ्या त्या अनेक हंसांपैकी ज्याला त्याने श्रेष्ठ मानले, त्यालाच आव्हान देऊन म्हणाला—“ये, आपण दोघे उडू!”
