गौर्यो बृहत्यो निर््लीका मद्रिका: कम्बलावृता:,इति श्रीमहाभारते कर्णपर्वणि कर्णमद्राधिपसंवादे चत्वारिंशो5ध्याय:

Transliteration

gauryō bṛhatyō nirlīkā madrikāḥ kambalāvṛtāḥ | iti śrīmahābhārate karṇaparvaṇi karṇa-madrādhipa-saṃvāde catvāriṃśo 'dhyāyaḥ ||

Translation

“त्या गौरवर्ण, विशाल, निष्कलंक मद्रदेशातील स्त्रिया—कंबळांनी आच्छादित आहेत.” अशा रीतीने श्रीमहाभारताच्या कर्णपर्वात कर्ण व मद्राधिप यांच्या संवादातील चाळीसावा अध्याय समाप्त झाला.
