duryodhana uvāca | pitṛdevarṣisaṅghebhyo bhaye datte mahātmanā | satkṛtya śaṅkaraṃ prāha brahmā lokahitaṃ vacaḥ ||
दुर्योधन म्हणाला— राजन्! जेव्हा महात्मा भगवान शिवांनी पितर, देव आणि ऋषिसंघ यांना अभय दिले, तेव्हा ब्रह्मदेवांनी भगवान शंकरांचा सत्कार करून हे लोकहितकारी वचन सांगितले.
