अथान्यद्‌ धनुरादाय प्राविध्यत युधिष्ठिरम्‌ । तावन्योन्यं सुसंक्रुद्धौ शस्त्रवर्षाण्यमुज्चताम्‌,तत्पश्चात्‌ दुर्योधनने दूसरा धनुष लेकर युधिष्ठिरको बींध डाला। वे दोनों वीर अत्यन्त क्रोधमें भरकर एक-दूसरेपर अस्त्र-शस्त्रोंकी वर्षा करने लगे

athānyad dhanur ādāya prāvidhyata yudhiṣṭhiram | tāv anyonyaṃ susaṃkruddhau śastravarṣāṇy amuñcatām |

त्यानंतर दुर्योधनाने दुसरे धनुष्य घेऊन युधिष्ठिरावर प्रहार केला. मग ते दोघेही वीर अतिशय क्रोधाने पेटून एकमेकांवर शस्त्रवर्षाव करू लागले.
