ततः परमसंक्रुद्धः पाण्डवे<स्त्राण्यवासृजत् । अश्वत्थामाभिरूपाय गृहानतिथये यथा
tataḥ parama-saṅkruddhaḥ pāṇḍave 'strāṇy avāsṛjat | aśvatthāmābhirūpāya gṛhān atithaye yathā ||
संजय म्हणाला—त्यानंतर अत्यंत क्रुद्ध झालेला अश्वत्थामा पांडुपुत्र अर्जुनावर आपली अस्त्रे अशी झाडू लागला, जणू एखादा गृहस्थ योग्य अतिथीला आपले सारे घरच अर्पण करतो।
