इषुभिरबहुभिस्तूर्ण विद्ध्वा प्राणाज्जहार सः । अर्जुनने सब ओरसे शत्रुओंके अस्त्रोंका अपने अस्त्रोंद्वारा निवारण कर उन्हें तुरंत ही अनेक बाणोंसे घायल करके उन सबके प्राण हर लिये
iṣubhir abahubhis tūrṇaṁ viddhvā prāṇāj jahāra saḥ |
संजय म्हणाला—अर्जुनाने सर्व बाजूंनी शत्रूंची अस्त्रे आपल्या अस्त्रांनी परतवून, फारसे बाण न खर्च करता, थोड्याच बाणांनी त्वरित त्यांना विद्ध करून त्यांच्या प्राणांचा अंत केला।
