ततस्तु त्वरयन् योधान् शड्खशब्देन मारिष । कर्णो निष्कर्षयामास कौरवाणां महद् बलम्,मान्यवर! तदनन्तर शंखध्वनिके द्वारा योद्धाओंको जल्दी करनेका आदेश देते हुए कर्णने कौरवोंकी विशाल वाहिनीको शिविरोंसे बाहर निकाला
tatastu tvarayan yodhān śaṅkhaśabdena māriṣa | karṇo niṣkarṣayāmāsa kauravāṇāṃ mahad balam ||
संजय म्हणाला—त्यानंतर, हे मान्यवर! शंखनादाने योद्ध्यांना त्वरा करण्याचा संकेत देत कर्णाने कौरवांची विशाल सेना छावणीतून बाहेर काढली. त्याच्या आज्ञा व ध्वनीसंकेताने सर्व दल युद्धासाठी सज्ज झाले.
